Uhmmmm

I did not want family members worrying about us, but we did not have a flu test; the doc gave us tamiflu as a probable caution. We are a family. We share germs. This flu is so mean that once you have had it?  You can get it again. Sorry guys. David had such a bad reaction that we wanted you not to worry more unless need be.

Of course we were hoping it wasn’t the flu. This is a very wicked flu. We don’t even feel bad. Just fever and tiredness.  And again, it may not be. But it may be. And so we also are taking precautions. 

Yes, David got it in his lungs, but for us, it doesn’t even feel like a cold, except for a cough every now and then. 

That being said, we will be very prompt in getting more care if we need it. 

Today, I have battled with a fever, the highest being 102.7. It is now 99.5. 

When we took David to the emergency room?  He had no fever. 

We just want to make sure you know we are keeping to ourselves and you can help us only in ways that do not include coming to our home. 

Also I ask you; please do not visit David. He is so weak. I know I have already said it, but I say it again. 

And go to the doctor, if you experience fever, cough, sore throat, aches, etc... one or all of these. 

We are normally not ‘doctor people’ but number one, I have an amazing naturally minded doc and number two, I really try everything I can before I resort to the doctor. 

And I painfully stay away from David until I am better. It is torture. The hardest thing I have ever had to do. The close second, is Jeremiah being born prematurely and having to leave him in the hospital when they discharged me. 

Take care of yourselves. Please!
