I've been thinking about the situation

you find yourself in.
I can see some things

from the outside,

and I have insider information

that helps to complete a better

overall picture than most other

people can see.

From the outside,

things don't looks so bad.

He's home, the family is together,

the boys are picking up slack,

Hannah is moving along with her life... normalcy.

Even my visit with David.

He looked, talked,

acted just as I remembered.

Normalcy.

But I know better.

We lived with my mom.

(Alzheimer’s)

We struggled daily.

Then someone would drop by

and spend 15 minutes talking to her.

They saw nothing

of the problems

I had been telling them about.

I must be exaggerating.

She seems... well... normal.

I can see a parallel situation with you.

Daily grind.

Maybe he's getting better, maybe not. Uncertain future.

No finish line.

None.

Outsiders who see part of the picture

think they know what you're going through. They're clueless,

but they don't have a

clue about their cluelessness.

This leaves you isolated. On a desert island. My heart aches for you.
