On a happy note...
Someone had a
recliner delivered
for David.
It’s higher than the couch
and easier for him
to get in and out of,
two people can fit in it,
and it barely fits in our living room.
to get in and out of,
two people can fit in it,
and it barely fits in our living room.
But who cares....
Take up all of our living room for him.
It’s the least we can do.
And thank you, person, who sent this.
We are beyond thankful; a perfect gift.
He is as happy as can be.
He has not been resting
as much as he should,
and the chair helps
in so many ways.
He is actually napping right now, at 11:30 am.
Resting and recovery
go together like
peas and carrots. ;-)
Thank you, person, who knew exactly what was needed without our help.
It was a perfect gift.
More than perfect...
Hannah started a new job yesterday
and the chair helps
in so many ways.

Hannah started a new job yesterday
at UPS
to contribute.
It is a part time gig,
and they love
college students,
so...
it will not be a problem when
she starts back to
school
in the fall.
She loves it!
(The job.)
(But she loves school a whole lot more.)
Do I feel bad? Yes.
Am I going to take her money? NO.
But she can get things
she needs.
Although
if you know
Hannah,
you will know
she thinks about
others
before herself.
So I will need to keep
a watchful eye.
After all we have
been through this year,
she has firmly decided
to be a nurse.
A few good nurses
we have encountered;
A FEW.
They need more
good people.
And she will make
a fabulous one!
I have not written
in several days.
Tears
make everything
blurry.
He is doing as well
as he can be.
We are still learning
the ropes.
His eyes are bright
and he is giving his all.
Dinner
is no longer
the only thing
I have to worry about.
So many things
he did before.
Learning
how not to take
things for granted. (hopefully).
And learning jobs
I am not familiar with.
Learning.
Tears...
come so easy these days.
