From the bedroom to the living room... he goes from a 93 to an 85 in oxygen levels.
>>>Normal blood oxygen levels in humans are considered 95–100 percent. If the level is below 90 percent, it is considered low resulting in hypoxemia. Blood oxygen levels below 80 percent may compromise organ function, such as the brain and heart, and should be promptly addressed.<<<
And so we go.
Better than in the beginning.
I took him to the emergency room at 51%.
We didn’t have all the fancy tools, but when he woke up that morning, he was certainly not himself.
Now you might understand why we, as a family, cannot have visitors for longer than 20-30 minutes at a time.
I’m not the bad guy, here. Call me overprotective.
Shun me.
I’m here to take care of my family. And if I am a bad guy, then I am a bad guy.
Do I like being a bad guy?
No.
Do I love David more than I dislike being a bad guy?
Yes.
But it does feel overwhelmingly terrible when someone doesn’t like me.
I tell my children all the time... not everyone is gonna like you. All you have to remember is that you are awesome and some people ‘just can’t see it.’ Don’t even let it touch you. They are not worth your time. You are amazing! Don’t let it hinder you; stop you; etc... keep going, in spite of the outward turbulence. Your light is important for the world to see! Focus on your own corner. Make your corner as beautiful as you are able. Make the static of haters cause your resolve to be stronger.
Now....if only I could follow the same advice.
XO
