Life saver.
But amazon bought Whole Foods and is now offering free delivery.
Ok. So I give it the good ole’ college try.
Amazon amazon....you disappoint me.
Groceries didn’t come when they promised. And I had to redeem my Lyfe Kitchen gift card.
But I had to take the ‘hospital route.’ Me and Jono felt the heaviness every mile we went. The ‘hospital route.’
And then... a friend texted me. (Don’t worry. Jono was in charge of ‘texting while i driving.’)
‘Be sure and have your oxygen battery charged before the storms come in case there is an electrical outage.’
Ooooookaaaay...
Crisis moment that could occur during a storm did not even register.
Was I thankful for the ‘reminder?’ Uhmmmm. YES!
But also the bricks of burden almost crushed us on the way to pick up our order.
We were very quiet after. Although we tried to hide it from each other. Small talk, you know.
But on the way home...we stole a glance at one another and caught each others sad face and glistening eyes.
That was all it took till a flood came. Me n Jono.
True story. We can’t remember everything. But those things important to remember that we don’t remember...God sends a reminder. And if it’s a person? It’s hard not to worship them.
And so we do.
And we thank our lucky stars that someone was looking out for us.
Crisis averted!

Ps. Overwhelmed are we at all the texts and emails that reminded us you are still there. You have NO IDEA how much it means. (Or maybe you do... experience has taught me that those who stay on and keep checking have also gone through some serious shtuff, and know how it feels, so they keep ‘showin up.’)
And so, hey, thank you! Wish there was a better word for thank you, because if there was;? we would use it.
PPS.
The man is moving forward.
He says ‘I love you’ a thousand times a day.
It gets me every time.
His favorite song to me is:
All of Me: By John Legend .
I cry every time I hear it.
More to say. No time to say it. To be continued...
TTFN.
